Blessings and Beyond: June 2008

Alexa Blessings

10 days have passed since I have bought this domain. After a few hours, I submitted its blog details to Alexa and installed its widget. Now, around early dawn, I noticed that this domain has finally got a rank of her own. Oh well, it maybe ranking millions and far from the Top 100 but I am just blessed to see that its recognized by Alexa and also by Google (the bot has accessed this blog already last June 26, 2008).

Thank God for this blessing.

Fulfilling His Purpose

“The LORD will fulfill his purpose for me; your love, O LORD, endures forever— do not abandon the works of your hands.” (Psalm 138:8)

This verse emphasizes how I felt lately inside. In this situation I am into, it really needs faith to go on. It’s so hard to endure when you feel so alone by yourself. My husband hasn’t sent support ever since we arrived here. My credit card bills which he made big by his selfish desires have gone overdue under my name. For the past few days, I haven’t heard from him not until last Saturday that I called asking for support but only answered I will send later…later…later. He knows that the bank I am with is open even in weekends but still he hasn’t sent anything. And with this situation, I felt abandoned.

I only have God to cling on right now. My parents are already sick and old. I couldn’t bear giving them the responsibility my husband left. Again, just like 3 years ago…he left me penniless. I am struggling again to survive with my two beautiful children.

Though I am in pain, I chose to remain optimistic and hopeful. If my husband does not want to do with us anymore, then I am sure God has planned something for me. He has a purpose in my life and I know He will be faithful to see it through. And unlike humans, the Lord our God doesn’t abandon us in times of great trouble.

Lord, I beg you to make my heart grow stronger. Give me enduring strength that I may journey through life always with a hopeful heart and never give up. Give me wisdom also to understand how things really are in your perspective. Lord, I know you will finish the God work in me and will not forsake me. Be with me always Lord. In Jesus Name, Amen!

The Lord is Patient

“The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.” (2 Peter 3:9)

This verse shows how God really loves His people. Sometimes, if we see a bad person, we immediately wished that he would be punished and go to hell. But thank God always that He is not like that. His patience is beyond human patience. He will allow us to realize or mistakes and wait for us for repentance. His love shows that He wants us all to be with him rather than go down the drain of eternal suffering.

Lord, thank you very much for being patient with me and those that hurt me & others. I know you have given us time to adjust through life so that we will be able to see your kindness and grace. Lord, help us also to be patient to people who mistreat us and hurt us. Give us strength to endure. In Jesus Name, Amen!

Dear God, we pray that you comfort each bereaved family everyday as they grieved for their loss, we pray that you will supply all their needs, we pray for the survivors that they may have a good life after the tragedy, that you will bless them and let them know in the deepest part of their heart that in spite of what have happened, you LOVE and CARE for them. This we pray in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.

Please, let us encourage everyone to keep the prayer going.

Dearest Langa,

It’s been awhile since you have talked or texted me. I know that your reason is because I always open up a fight in all my texts which is not true but you don’t also reply to my text saying “I love you” or “how you are.” Just to make sure I can say what I feel and not forget my love for you, I decided to write a letter. I know you don’t read my blogs nor have the time to ask me how we are but I am just trying to be optimistic that someday you will read and visit my blogs, maybe not in the near future but somehow.

Lang, I just want you to know before everything would be to late…that I really love you. I don’t have to explain how much I love you since I think you already know about it or maybe not. Anyway, I guess life for you may be enjoyable as of the moment without us and full of good things that a family could not satisfy you but, if you are ready and decided to communicate with us or just the children, we are here. We will wait for you until you return to us. Just please…don’t take too much time…don’t wait until things get too late for us or for you.

I only pray that someday you will realize that we love you so much and that we would love to have a complete family with you again in God’s love and time.

Dear Lord, please protect my husband. Don’t allow anything bad happen to him. Please enlighten his mind so that he can see the truth and do what is right. Please let him remember that we exist and that we love him so much. Take care of him Lord. Please spare him from disaster. In Jesus Name, Amen.

The Lord is Faithful

I have installed a widget from BibleGateway.com. Since I am online most of the time, I would love to read valuable snippets from the Bible. Today’s verse is from 2nd Thessalonians 3:3 - “But the Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen and protect you from the evil one.”

My own thoughts:
Indeed the Lord is faithful; I have found myself several times in a situation that I felt the world has closed down on me. Honestly, there were moments that I have questioned Him why He allowed such things where in fact He told me that He loves me. But He did prove Himself faithful; He protected me and strengthens me in those low moments. I was able to survive and end-up victorious…wounded but victorious.

As I struggle day by the day, especially in this marriage of mine, I find myself hoping and praying for a new morning. Since I have proven Him faithful many times over in my life, I am very optimistic that someday there would be a rainbow after this stormy weather. I should be thankful because there are more people and more couples who suffer in a worst situation than me.

Dear Lord, thank you for being so faithful in my life. Though there are many times that I have shown weakness, please forgive me. If I find myself again in a more trying situation, please continue to give me strength that I may face them with great courage. Let me remember that you are there always and that you will always be there for me. This I asked, in Jesus Name. Amen.

What is Love?

I believe that the greatest definition of love is found at the Bible in 1 Corinthians 13:1-13. Taken from the New International Version.

If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames, but have not love, I gain nothing.

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. For we know in part and we prophesy in part, but when perfection comes, the imperfect disappears. When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. Domain Blessings

After being online for 7 months now, I have been making blogs out of my hobbies. Last January 2008, I was able to buy my very first domain (www.pinaymommyonline.com) for “Pinay Mommy Online” and later around March 2008 for “Mommy Earns Money Online” (www.momemo.com). And just a few minutes ago, I have bought my latest domain for this blog “Blessings and Beyond” (www.micahdavid.com).

Indeed, it is a great blessing to have so many domains. Aside from making you unique in the online world, it can help you with earning more money online.
