Annoying Callers Anyone?

Have you ever experienced a nagging call? Well, I am sure it’s not your mom or your wife but from someone whom you don’t know, offering you this and that or even plainly harassing you?

Well, there is a new website wherein you can check on the numbers to know who your annoying callers are! It is a user based website. This means that the data collected is from the reports submitted by people who have been harassed by those numbers. From here, you can also search for a number of a person that might have been annoying you for so long a time now and can access reports that have been filed under that number. You will definitely know what the purpose of their call is.

So, if you have an experience or still experiencing annoying callers, I suggest that you visit AnnoyingCarllers.com and learn more about that number!

Victory Hair Defined

The Ultimate Flirting Championship by Extreme Style by VO5 is still "the" famous craze in the blogging community. It has taken over blogs and social networking accounts. Everybody has enjoyed playing it against friends, while others are having real fun judging other people's flirting skills!

Anyway, what does Victory Hair stands for? For me, I defined it as a state where two people come together in love. They don’t really care how the world that revolves around them is doing; they can only see each other. They don’t know if the wind has totally messed up their hairs, they can only see the beauty of each other. That is how I define my own Victory Hair!

By the way, here is the Ultimate Flirting Championship widget by Extreme Style by VO5. You can have one at your blog or install in one of your social networking account like friendster, myspace, facebook and more. You can invite friends to play against you (specially your crush) or you can be the judge and keep score with your friends playing. It only takes three people to start the game, one judge and two players but honestly the more players, the better. It would be a great challenge for all!!

For more widgets please visit www.yourminis.com

Since you’re here, why not give it a try? Play the game and enjoy.

Renewable Energy

With all prices rising, from gasoline, electricity bills and basic necessity, we can’t help but look for alternative resources just to stay afloat. People try to save on gas, cut-off in their electricity usage, recycle and even look for second jobs just to provide for the family.

Well, in Australia, they have made use of the abundant resource that we all have – solar energy. They use this renewable energy to power houses, business establishments and even schools. This effort can not only save on electricity bills but can contribute greatly to the environment.

Anyway, when schools in Australia avail of SolarGen’s offer to use solar energy to power them, they will get rebates from their government for helping out and patronizing solar resources for a greener environment.

Well, I guess this is a very fair deal. You use an abundant renewable energy and can still could contribute to a safer planet for us.

Teaching Children About God - II

{FOUR - FIVE YEARS OLD}

Earlier, I have posted about the basic aspects of God that two to three years old could understand. Now, I will be discussing for ages four to five. These ages are commonly called the age of questioning. They have many things on their mind and sometimes they want immediate answer. That I really do know by heart because my four year old son never runs out of questions to ask.

To teach children about God, here are some concepts that they can easily learn and perceive at their age:

1. He can understand that God loves him.
2. That God takes cares for all that who loves Him.
3. That God made him, his siblings and his parents.
4. That God made the world and everything in it.
5. That God is everywhere.
6. That God will hear his prayer anytime.
7. That God sent Jesus for us.
8. That God can be trusted and depended on.
9. That God wants him to obey HIM by obeying his parents.
10. That he should obey and please God.
11. That he can tell God that he is sorry for the bad things he does.

Most of the listed concepts that I am sharing here are based on my experiences from teaching Sunday School, from books that I have previously read and seminars that I have attended to.

Hollywood Lines to Win

Whenever I watch a movie, I always remember lines delivered by the actors. Most of these lines really are very beautiful and worth remembering.

Anyway, I have always used the line “You caught me at HELLO!” from the Jerry Maguire Movie. It has become an expression for me. But one line that really stands out for me is that from Disney’s Pocahontas. John Smith told Pocahontas this line, “I rather die today and live a hundred years without knowing you.” Most of these lines are all romantic and very catching. Do you think these Hollywood lines can help you get a date? Or could help you win the online game by Extreme Style by VO5’s Ultimate Flirting Championship?

Well, if you think you can achieve that Victory Hair by saying these Hollywood romantic lines, why not try if for yourself by playing at the widget below? You might get a date afterwards.

Designer Lingerie Online

Internet has made shopping very easy. You can now do literal window shopping with a few clicks of your mouse and easily compare prices. Aside from that, you can easily buy gifts for your love ones and get them delivered to their homes.

Speaking of shopping, I have been looking for designer lingerie for our neighbor. Since she is married, I decided to give her something nice and special for them couples to enjoy but she had a very healthy body and greatly endowed. I could not find a lingerie that suitably fits her at the department store.

Boudiche-image---la-perla-_

Anyway, it was nice to know that there are online shops like Boudiche.com that sells D+ cup sizes and even GG cups with UK brands like Freya and Fayreform. When I browsed their site, I was amazed how the lingerie design looked like even it carries bigger cup sizes. They were still beautiful and voluptuous.

Since I am slim figured and not that totally gifted, I decided to check out if Freya Lingerie and Fayreform Lingerie has something nicely designed that would fit me. Of course, to my surprise, they too have something dashingly designed for women who are not that endowed.

Boudiche.com does not only offer designer lingerie but they also sell corsets and night wears. Anybody can buy from them; even husbands can surprise their wives since they have shopping guides for men to help them out. They ship internationally and accept all major credit cards. Prices can also be viewed using the British Pound, Euro Dollar and US Dollar for easy shopping.

Hopes for this Blog II

It’s been a month since I have written about my hopes for this blog. Back then, I was kinda worried because I was not granted with a page rank. I really thought that I would not be getting any opportunities. But I was wrong! God has been so faithful in providing my needs. Well, not as many tasks as a blog that holds a page rank but well enough to say that I have been really blessed.

Hopefully, I am praying that this blog will get a page rank on the next update by the end of October. It’s still far but I guess it would give me sufficient time to prepare for it. Let’s just pray for the best!

New Vision with iLASIK

Life nowadays has become more blessed. Many discoveries have been made and have contributed much to humankind. Before, if you have eye problems, you are given prescription to wear eye glasses. When technology advanced, contact lenses are made and utilize. Now, what once used only by US military and NASA, LASIK technology has been developed and used widely as a new surgical procedure done by ophthalmologists to treat astigmatism, hyperopia, and myopia.

LASIK (laser-assisted in situ keratomileusis) has a modern counterpart called iLASIK. Before, LASIK procedure only uses one laser. Now, iLASIK utilizes two lasers. It has become an ultrafast surgical procedure and is now computer-guide. Modern LASIK has been around and used by the US military to improve and achieve 20/20 vision among their personnel and about 12 million Americans have already undergone with this procedure.

To make this procedure affordable, www.iLASIK.com, a website committed to provide LASIK information and more, has made a way to provide financial assistance to all those who are interested to avail this procedure. Modern LASIK can be availed by people, who are in excellent health, at least 21 years old, having a steady vision prescription for at least one year, and has no existing eye diseases.

If you are interested or know someone who might need it, I suggest that you visit www.iLASIK.com for more information on this modern technology.

The Ability to Produce Wealth

"But remember the LORD your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth, and so confirms his covenant, which he swore to your forefathers, as it is today." (Deuteronomy 8:18)

In my blogging life, I sometimes get praises for the tips I gave out. Of course, I say thank you since not every day I get appreciated by other people. But, I always try to remind myself that it’s not my ability that I get to earn online. Yes, I learned many things but the ability to do this was given to me by the Creator himself, not only to me, but to all of us.

I am not trying to open up an argument here. You may agree with me or not but all I can firmly say (in my own conscience) that God has given me the ability to produce wealth. He may add more or take back. It really depends on Him. As for now, I am just thankful for all the blessings that He had bestowed upon me and my family and for all the people He used mightily to bless me and many others.

Toot for Contest Winnings

Tuesday Toot 4

This week has been a great blessing to me. I have won two online contests, Wacky Pictures at Pinay Mommies Community and Page Rank Olympics at Meltwater. Torrents. Meanderings. Delta. Winning these contests really signifies great accomplishments for me by God’s grace.

The Wacky Pictures we’re done so late because my kiddos weren’t up for it. So, I waited for them to naturally pose for the camera. As for the Page Rank Olympics, two weeks of toil and labor of building links with other blogs actually paved off with an increase of 92 at my technorati authority (as of today).

Last week went well also, I was able to participate at Sky Watch Friday and Scenic Sunday. Of course, today for Tuesday Toot (though it’s technically Wednesday here)!
Anyway, I am just so happy for this week! Happy tooting!

I Won the Gold Medal!!

Last August 24, 2008 was the day the Beijing Olympics ended and so as MTMD Page Rank Olympics. And guess who won?! Yup!! I won the GOLD medal!! I got the $100 prize!! Isn’t that such a blessing??!!

Well, it really did make me leap for joy! I had a very depressing episode earlier because I couldn’t access my bread and butter website. I couldn’t grab any opportunity even until now. My friends kept on telling me that I am missing a lot of tasks already and it made me even sadder. But when my good friend, Genie Princess commented on my other blog asking me about me winning at “Meltwater. Torrents. Meanderings. Delta.” I immediately blog hopped going to Matt’s blog. And there it was! I saw my blog’s EntreCard widget placed on top of his post announcing all the winners. I immediately shouted and informed my family! I was really happy! I got a blessing despite my current online predicaments.

Not only that, I was really touched on how Matt gave a review on my blog. He said…
Blessings and Beyond is a Christian-themed Mommy blog, but the content is eclectic and ranges from inspirational verse and Readers Digest-styled stories to tutorials on web hosting and really cool scenic photography. This blog is not preachy by any means, and if you are need of a pick-me-up, I strongly recommend you visit this blog. Its appeal is universal, which undoubtedly contributed to its strong Gold Medal Win!
Isn’t that nice!! Anyway, my online friend Aeirin of Biz-n-Honey won Second Place and so as my other online friend Sherry for Third Place. Congrats also to you guys!

By the way, I would like to thank God for such a wonderful blessing! I also thank Matt of “Meltwater. Torrents. Meanderings. Delta.” for giving me the opportunity to join and help me realize that I needed to focus on this blog too. Again Matt, thank you very very much! You are such a great blessing to me and my family!

A Great Cook Off Event!

I am not really good at cooking. In fact, I think I am not blessed with such talent. Yeah, I can cook a little but I need to follow a recipe because I couldn’t make my own.

Speaking of cooking and recipe, I visited www.GreatAmericanSeafoodCookOff.com. They have a contest wherein you can have the chance to win a “Trip to New Orleans!” The prize package includes a round trip ticket for two, hotel accommodations, food and many more. All you have to do is visit their website and vote for your favorite recipe.

Anyway, there are five recipes that have been showcased at the Great American Seafood Cook-Off 2008. Each are presented by their state, the following recipes are Colorado Striped Bass Panzanella by Chef Paul Anders (Colorado), Pan Roasted Glazed Rockfish with Peas and Carrots by Chef Tafari Campbell (Maryland), Mississippi Redfish Courtboullion with Seafood Dirty Rice by Chef John Currence (Mississippi), Texas Gulf Shrimp by Chef Mark Holley (Texas) and Louisiana Shrimp and Andouille Cassoulet by Chef Brian Landry (Louisiana).

For me, a person who needs a recipe to cook voted for Louisiana Shrimp and Andouille Cassoulet by Chef Brian Landry (Louisiana). I chose this because I find the ingredients easy to find and the instructions easy to follow. Unlike the other recipes, it really needs ingredients that are for fine dining only or expensive. It is not easy to make your own cook off at your kitchen. But the Louisiana Shrimp and Andouille Cassoulet, you have the chance to cook off like a professional chef!

The contest is actually great itself. Supporting locally produced seafood products would really give the State a boost economically and even giving the people a patronizing effect.

I was planning to blog about something today but I think I have to do it later or tomorrow. My kiddos and I are going to the mall right now. We will be having our bonding time, just the three of us.

They are very much excited because they are going to try out, for the very first time, the air bubble land. They will play and bounce inside while I do the groceries. After that, we will eat dinner and if the movies are good, we would probably watch too.

Anyway, I have to go now and prepare. They are already dressed up and I should too! Take care now! Be back blogging later.

Clay in the Potter's Hand

Aside from the Christian Carders, I also bumped in a Christian blog named “Clay in the Potter’s Hand.” The owner of the blog invited everyone to place the banner if you think you are clay in the Potter’s hand that needed to be molded. She also has placed a Statement of Faith which you can read for you to agree.

Since, I totally agreed with her. I decided to join and place the banner. By the way, the theme song of the blog is based on Darlene Zschech’s song The Potter’s Hand. Below is the lyrics and I hope you enjoy the video.

POTTER'S HAND
by Darlene Zschech

Verse:
Beautiful Lord, Wonderful Saviour
I know for sure, all of my days are held in your hands,
Crafted into your perfect plan
You gently call me into your presence guiding me by Your Holy Spirit
Teach me dear Lord to live all of my life through Your eyes
I'm captured by Your holy calling
Set me apart, I know You're drawing me to Yourself
Lead me Lord I pray

Chorus:
Take me, mould me, use me, fill me
I give my life to the Potter's hand
Call me, guide me, lead me, walk beside me
I give my life to the Potter's hand

You gently call me into Your presence
Guiding me by Your Holy Spirit
Teach me dear Lord to live through Your eyes
I'm captured by You holy calling
Set me apart, I know Your drawing me to Yourself
Lead me Lord, I pray...

He Hears Us

I love the LORD, for he heard my voice; he heard my cry for mercy. Because he turned his ear to me, I will call on him as long as I live.” (Psalm 116:1-2)

This verse really touches me because it really is a great statement of faith. For me, there are times that I felt that the Lord is not listening to my pleas but eventually as time passes by; you will learn that He has always been there. He has heard and he had answered. Sometimes we are just encapsulated with our problem that we couldn’t see how he answers things.

Anyway, even though I don’t see, feel or hear, I still believe that He really does. Maybe not now and not tomorrow but in His due and perfect time, He will. So, as long as I live, I will call upon Him!

Planning for a Vacation

It's been awhile since my last vacation with the family. The last was very hilarious though. We actually forgotten to bring our food bags and utensils. We spend more money in dining out than all the attraction fees.

Anyway, I have wanted to go abroad for a vacation for another different experience. I have seen a lot of places over the internet that I would definitely love to visit. Since some things can’t be done immediately, careful planning and prayer must be done.

So, I decided to look for online travel guides that can provide me with great travel packages at a budget friendly allowance. Then, my friend from the US recommended me to visit Trusted Tours & Attractions and check out their latest packages on New York tours, Los Angeles tours, Boston tours and many others. Then, as I browsed around the site and I have noticed that they are giving away $150 Magellan’s Gift Certificate as a contest prize to all those who will subscribe their eNewsletter. Since I am planning for a vacation, I decided to subscribed and get informed with their latest promos and packages.

When I opened my choice packages to my friend, she was excited to tell me that the Metropolitan museum of art at New York is a must see place. She also shared to me that visiting the Madame Tussauds New York Wax Museum would be really fun, seeing replicas of famous celebrities. She also said that the Central Park Movie Sites Tour is also one of the recommended packages that should be availed too.

So now, all I have to do is pray for financial resources that I might avail this soon with my family!

Poem of Friendship

We need friends because no man is an island. Besides, true friends always reminds us of life and hope! We may have plenty of acquaintances but only a few can be called friends.

We need friends for many reasons,
all throughout the season.
We need friends to comfort us
when we are sad,
and to have fun with us when we are glad.

We need friends to give us good advice,
We need someone we can count on,
and treat us nice.

We need friends to remember us
one we have passed
sharing memories that will always last.

Spread the poem of friendship.

My Third TT Post

It’s been awhile since I have joined Tuesday Toot. I have been very busy and depressed so lately that I haven’t got the time to participate on all my favorite weekly memes and even post new updates on this blog.

Anyway, the earlier week was quite different. Though, I was very busy running errands, I was able to participate on my favorite weekly memes like Sky Watch, Scenic Sunday, PMC Weekly Fest and even today (actually it’s Wednesday already here) I am doing this Tuesday Toot post.

I am actually looking forward to participate on these memes weekly. I enjoy taking pictures, doing scraps and even writing about my accomplishments for the week.

Well, my TT post is not that much but I am just so happy to accomplish something in my blogging world! Thank God for a blessed week ahead.

You do not have to be tagged to play along. This game is simple and so here are the rules.

2. Add your site(s) to the list. Just be sure to post the "Techno Christmas 2008" at each site you add.

Joined MTMD Page Rank Olympics!

Last August 8, 2008, the Beijing Olympics started with an awesome blast. Many countries participated and so as my beloved country the Philippines. My father and I stayed up late just to see our athletes paraded themselves with pride and honor.

Anyway, aside from the Beijing Olympics, the coolest contest in the blogosphere has all started – the “MTMD Page Rank Olympics!” When I read about it, I thought that this contest is really great. Why? Because the prizes that are up for grabs are BIG CASH PRIZES!! They will be giving out the following:
Gold Medal: The blog that increases the most in both Google Page Rank and Technorati Authority will win a $100 Grand Prize.

Silver Medal: The blog that has the highest increase in Technorati Authority will win a $50 Prize.

Bronze Medal: The blog that has the 2nd highest increase in Technorati Authority will win a $25 Prize.
Another great thing about this, you can focus also in increasing your blog’s Technorati Authority and on the next update – you Page Rank.

To learn more about this contest and how you can join, please click HERE for more details.

Blessings and Beyond is joining with Page Rank of ZERO and Technorati Authority of 252. If you want to support my blog in this quest, please don’t forget to add this blog to your Technorati Favorites and an exchange links would also be great!

Funny Cash Advance

This is a funny but stupid story that happened the last time hubby came to visit us. Of course, I was really happy that he came for a few days visit. I was excited and really looked forward with spending good times with him and the kiddos.

When he arrived late evening of Wednesday last week, he told me that we are going to the bank the next day because he is going to get the card that was captured by the ATM machine. I agreed and then we slept early. When the next morning came, while waiting for the teller to get the captured card, he told me that he made cash advance loan intended for spending happy times here but unfortunately the money didn’t came because he withdrawn his deposit at the last day of the month, thus closing it the next day August 1.

It was really funny because I can’t believed what my husband went through just to get his no fax payday loan pushed through over the days prior and then, we end-up having nothing to spend. Anyway, since I really hoped that the kids will get what their father promised, I suggested ways and means to get money. My hubby liked my idea, so we went out and spend special time together. Not that extravagant as my hubby wanted it to be but it was enough to make our kiddos smile.
