Conference Calls May Not be For Me
Have you ever been in a situation where you want to express yourself but you can’t just find the right words to put across your point? Or sometimes, all the right words are there in your mind but you can’t compose them in a sensible train of thought. Believe me it happens to me quite often.
That’s probably the reason why I am not too eager to engage in conference calls. I don’t want to black out in the middle of an important phone conversation lest the one I’m in a meeting with thinks I don’t know the subject on hand. I’d like to think of myself as a good conversationalist but only when I’m face-to-face with someone.
I think there are seminars that can help one overcome something like that. Maybe I should attend one. How about you? Do you suffer from the same predicament or are you able to converse freely and are adept in engaging in a meeting over the phone?
