Life Mottos

“Life is box of chocolates, you just never know what you’re gonna get.” This is the famous life motto Forrest Gump lived by and some people have one or two also. Just like them I also have several life mottos that I kept at heart. These are constant reminders that make me realize more about life.

My life mottos are taken from the Bible. We all know that it’s the greatest handbook in life. One of the verses that I consider as my life motto is taken from Jeremiah 29:11. It says that “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Find out more about this verses by reading more of the Book of Jeremiah.

Every time I remember this verse, I am always reminded that God has allowed all things to happen whether good and bad for a purpose. Sometimes we felt that the world has befallen upon us but rest assured that God did not plan for the ultimate destruction of our lives but to prosper us and give us a future. So, if things go wrong, I have this hope inside me that all these will pass and in the end God will bring in the rainbow. Find out more on God’s goodness by reading the Bible more often.

On October 22 and 23, 2008 at Silver Spring, Maryland, USA, more discussion on spiritual topics and how to worship God will be discussed the first annual Theater Church Conference. Find out more information about the said event at www.ncm.com.
