Spiritual Preparedness
Matthew 26:6-7 talks about the signs of the end of times. In Matthew 26:7 it says “There will be famines and earthquakes in various places.” As disaster strikes every nation, from typhoon, earthquake and tsunamis, one could say that the signs of the end of times are already here.
Now that we have seen the signs, are we afraid to die? Are we afraid of its outcome? Are you afraid to meet our Maker?
One thing for sure, when the end times come, not even a whole life insurance policy can help save your family’s future because all will deal with it someday. We don’t need the assurance of worldly power but we need the assurance of Jesus Christ. He alone is the way, the truth and the life. He alone can save us and our families. He is our salvation.
So before disaster strikes, we should be prepared not only in the worldly and physical manner but also in the spiritual realm. Our life here on earth is just passing but our life in God is eternity.
