Sugar Hauling
In the province of Negros Occidental, Southern Philippines many people are in the trucking business that specifically caters to sugarcane planters. These truckers provide hauling services to the planters, meaning they transport harvested canes from the farm to the sugar central where these are milled to produce refined or brown sugar. It is a good business because these truckers are paid for every single trip that they make. It requires little maintenance and as long as the trucks have comprehensive insurance, this business is very profitable. It just takes a lot of capital though because one truck unit can be really expensive.
