When I watched some Afro-Americans sing on TV, I noticed that they have these gold chains around their neck with huge pendants which they call blings. To finish the fashion statement, they wear oversized t-shirts and pants. Well, not all of them wear like that but in caricatures and other representations, Afro-Americans are indentified to be like this giving an impression of a rapper.

Anyway, I guess dressing this way is part of their modern culture. Their younger generation made a fashion statement copied not only in the US regardless of color and race but also by other countries. I for one saw a bunch of young boys here in our city wearing such.

So you see, fashion can really make people one in taste.
