Been Following Peter Facinelli

It’s been awhile since I have been following Peter Facinelli on Twitter. It’s just a rare opportunity to follow a Hollywood celebrity who is really twitting his personal thoughts for real. Unlike other celebrity twitter accounts, they are manned by posers or by their talent scouts but not the real ones.

Anyway, for the past few days, I am enjoying Mr. Facinelli’s tweets. He talked about his travel with his family using their RV going to Portland for the Make A Wish Foundation Vampire Baseball Event. It was nice that he shares many things while driving back and forth. He shares his personal opinions why he loved and hated RVing.

So, if you like to know more about the celebrity Peter Facinelli, just visit his official twitter account http://twitter.com/peterfacinelli and click follow!

By the way, Peter Facinelli plays the role of Dr. Carlisle Cullen of the Twilight Movies.

ISP Experiences

Last Monday evening, my husband downloaded three large files while I was uploading one. I started my uploading around 8PM (Monday) then he followed to download the three around 10PM same day. To my amazement, my uploading lasted around 4AM (Tuesday) while two of the three files that my husband downloaded were finished around 4PM same day. The last file took longer to download as it was completed around 11PM (Tuesday), which took about 25 hours to download!

I was pretty confused since my internet service provider’s (ISP) cell tower is just a walking distance away from the house but still I am experiencing a seriously slow downloading and uploading speed. I don’t know if there is a difference if you are using a broadband or DSL connection when it comes to speed. But as for experiences is concern, my DSL connection before was faster when it comes to downloading and uploading but when they are down, they lasted about 1 to 3 days. While my broadband connection, though slow when downloading and uploading, when they have a problem, they are down about 2 to 3 hours max.

How about you? What are your experiences with your ISP?

Major Purchases

My husband and I have been planning to buy some major purchases late this year or probably next year depending on the outcome of our finances and other plans. We are hoping to buy a transport vehicle late this year or plan to make a down payment for our very own house and lot in some subdivision here in our place for next year.

Anyway, we still have a lot of considerations to take into heart. This coming September 2009, I will be giving birth to our third child. That means our family expenses will be soaring high. If we get a transport vehicle, we need to get ourselves our individual driving licenses, auto insurance, registration and other maintenance cost that involves it. If we place a down payment for our own house next year, we will be incurring a lot of monthly payments aside from our household expenses and credit obligations.

So, it is really hard to decide for now. Though buying any of these things will help us save money but as of the moment it doesn’t give any guarantee that it will. Hopefully, God-willing, He will guide us through this.
